After college, Dr. Hubbard went to the Trudeau Institute in the Adirondack Mountains to study Mycobacterial diseases. Dr. Hubbard then went to Michigan to work in pharmaceutical research for 14 years (on vaccines and caccine adjuvants). His research interests include the development of a TB vaccine and a more effective influenza vaccine. He has taught biology and microbiology at several colleges in Michigan.
