Computer Assessment - INFT 110 Course

Our goal is for every Liberty student to attain technological proficiency. To help ensure this, all students must complete a technology competency requirement.

As a student, you must either pass the Computer Assessment OR complete Information Technology 110.

Computer Assessment

The Computer Assessment is offered during the fall and spring semesters, and the passing score is 70%.

The computer assessment tests skills in MS Office 2013 and is taken in four separate parts:

  • Word
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Computer Concepts

If INFT 110 is needed, a $67 course fee will be added to your ASIST account for technology fees. There is no fee for the Computer Assessment.

Information Technology 110

You must complete Information Technology (INFT) 110 during your first 45 hours at Liberty or your first year as a transfer student. Transfer students who have transferred in a course that substitutes for INFT 110 have satisfied the technology competency and do not need to take the assessment.

Course Number: INFT 110
