Choosing to study religious studies is an exciting and life changing journey! After completing your religious studies training at Liberty University, you will be trained to unfold the finer nuances of the Bible that will cause your mind to ponder its intricacies with a sense of awe and reverence for the God of the Bible. It is indeed a worthy goal to become a wise in the Bible – God’s Holy Word. As you pursue your religious studies at Liberty keep the following two encouragements in mind and allow them to energize and motivate you during this exciting journey!

First, you will be challenged academically, intellectually, scholastically. You will have the privilege of engaging both scholars and fellow classmates in the field of religious studies and experience a rich, challenging, and rewarding learning environment. You will have multiple opportunities to contribute to the academic discussion and learning experience in the classroom.

Second, pursue your religions studies in order to more intelligently and intimately commune with your Creator! Consider it a privilege to take the skills from your training and be able to dissect and discern the finer nuances of God’s Holy Word. Allow your training to translate into praise for the One who has given you the mind and the opportunity to study His precious Word. Consciously look for ways that your Religious Studies training can positively affect your job, ministry, and home life. Allow what you learn in your Religious studies to infuse your prayer life. Allow the truths that you extract in during your Religious studies to cultivate an accuracy of doctrine and a sincerity of heart in your prayer life. Ultimately, allow your Religious studies to bring you into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ – the only one who can provide “peace with God” to every person (John 3:16).
