*Parents, please be advised that in order to attend Convocation, the Liberty University Police Department requires a state-issued photo ID like a driver's license for admittance. Students under the age of 18 who are not attending CFAW do not need ID to attend Convocation.

November CFAW Parent Session

During College For A Weekend, you are invited to a Parent Session and learn how your student will be supported at Liberty as we discuss next steps and financial aid. You will also hear from New York Times bestselling author and LU Parent Karen Kingsbury.  Dr. Robert Ritz, Executive Vice President of Finance, and as well as other LU Parent testimonials. Parents attending this session will receive a copy of one of Mrs. Kingsbury's books. Karen has authored many books, among which are "Once Upon a Campus".

Details on time and location will be included in your event itinerary.

What Your Student Can Expect

During CFAW, your student will have every opportunity to explore our campus and experience what college life is like at Liberty University. Check out our schedule and events pages for more information on what you and your student can expect on your visit!

Understanding Dorm Life

Our current students are excited to host your student in the dorms to get the full experience of Liberty’s student life. Keep in mind that current students may not be able to join your student on every adventure while they are here for CFAW. Many of our students are employed, have homework, or life situations that might require them to step away from hosting. We have created numerous events to help your student connect and begin writing their own story at Liberty.

As a parent, you can attend CFAW free! You can register for the event when your student registers. When you arrive on campus, both you and your student will check-in, where you will receive the itinerary for the weekend
