Welcome. I am new to this page and so very thankful I came upon it. I have been studying online with Liberty since last August. Like most, I am faced with time issues. During church tonight, I wrote something our pastor said down in my Bible to remember and strive for daily. "Get into the Word of God more daily; leading me to the Work of God done joyously daily; leading me to the Will of God as my new lifestyle done to glorify His name daily."

My answer is in response to what Kelly asked in the last line of her comment. "how do you know you are doing the right things? ". Mark stated it in v15: 'Repent, and believe in the Gospel". Notice that there is a relationship between repenting and believing. He says 'repent AND believe'. Sometimes we can do one without the other. We need to "renew our mind": Romans 12:2 talks about this. We need to stay in God's Word daily, as well as, pray daily. In this way we have surrounded ourselves with the power of the Holy Spirit. These are things that God's Word demands of us. I think, you are doing the right things when you stay in The Word, pray, and share your faith with others. Staying open to hearing God's sometimes gentle voice calling out the path that you are to take. Declutter your life so you are able to hear when God calls. So many things vie for our time today, this earthly "noise" can drown out God's voice if we choose to let it. Sometimes we desire to hears His voice so much that we "listen past it" - we don't recognize His voice. Meditate on God's Word daily and be in prayer. Believe that God has a purpose for each of us and He wants us to fulfill it. I hope this helps.

Yes, I have put my faith in God for all things. BUT))) As a human, I know that I am weak ... which makes me doubt me. I know that even if I have total faith in God and my desire to live His will is strong the truth of it all is that I can stand in the way of what God has planned for me. So, this leaves plenty of room for doubt or worry in my life... but my doubt is not in God but in me. I am always unsure of what I am supposed to do. I try.. I really try to listen and obey. But that is just it.... If I knew what God wanted me to do, I would do it without question but I don't hear Him clearly or at all.. He has been clear about messages to give others but not about myself.. SO the question I ask is.... how do you know you are doing the right things?

I am thankful for this study. I am looking forward to learning more of God's word and teachings. I am trying to leave my trials in God's hands. I am facing so much right now. It's not always easy to do this. As much as I WANT to leave it all with Him, I still try to solve it and deal with it myself. We touched on this subject at church today. Is there anything in our lives (physical, emotional or addiction) that is BIGGER than God? Our pastor asked us this question. And he wanted an answer. Although it may feel like there are problems that God can't solve, there's nothing to big that God can't solve. BUT, we have to make the effort to give it to Him. We have to trust in His great timing. As I grow deeper in my faith and learn more, I know it will become increasingly easier to leave ALL my issues at the Feet of Jesus and KNOW that He WILL solve it all in His good timing.
