Hello All. I am from Yonkers, NY and will be relocating to LA in the coming weeks! I am enrolled in the Psychology and Christian Counseling Online Program. This is a big deal for me because throughout the years, I have had a series of things I have "started" but failed to finish, including school! This time around has to be different! I will complete school and Graduate! I will walk across the Liberty University stage in Jesus Name! I am married with 3 children and can not wait for them to see me in my cap and gown! Favorite scripture? Great question. I will say: Hebrews 11:1 Amplified Bible (AMP) "Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, (the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]."

Hello there everyone. My name is Kimberly and I am from Hamilton, NY. I am pursuing my bachelors degree in Psychology - Life Coaching. I currently work full time with special education students in the local public school. My job can be challenging, but very rewarding. I enjoy spending time with my children (ages 24 years to 7 years), gardening, and long walks, just to name a few things. Hello! I'm Ericka. I just turned 21 and I'm a new online student with Liberty. I am going to be studying criminal justice and I am excited to see where God leads me this year. Hi, my name is Brandon. I am 36 yrs old and retired US Coast Guard. I currently live in Santa Rosa, CA while finishing up a B.S. in Religion. I am called specifically to minister to the adult population; however, I am also involved with our youth. Next year I plan to pursue an M. Div. through Liberty University Online. I am also pursuing a position in ministry as well. I enjoy studying, obviously, and my family. I have an eight year old, Noah, and my bride of 12 years, Elizabeth. I also enjoy playing with R/C cars and spend this time trying to convert my father-in-law to Christianity as he also enjoys going to the R/C track with me. Hi! My name is Linda and I am from Cohoes, NY (just outside of Albany). I am a new online student and will be starting in August. I will be studying to become a Christian Counselor. I am really excited but also nervous. I am 47 years old and starting a new chapter in my life. I am a mom to 3, new grandma to 2. I've been with my hubby for a little over 3 years. (Second marriage.) Hello Everyone, My name is Kimberly. I am originally from Maryland, but I currently live in Georgia. I have obtained a master's in religious education and I am currently seeking a second master's in professional counseling from Liberty University. I am so grateful and excited for the opportunity to not only return to school, but also to be a part of a Christian community. From the very start we all know that we have one thing in common, Jesus Christ. He has joined us together for His purpose and He is the bond that will hold us together throughout this journey. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity" (Psalm 133:1)! I have been contemplating a favorite Bible verse for quite some time now and I have still not reached a final verdict, however, the one that comes to mind most often is Proverbs 1:33: "But whosoever hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil." It has brought me great comfort over the years. So, I am looking forward to blogging with you all for the distinct purpose of glorifying God to the edification of our souls. I pray that God will bless each of you even beyond your imagination

Hi! I am so excited to start this journey I have been postponing for several years. I am enrolled for AA in paralegal studies. I probably won't stop there though. I am a 45 year young single mom with 5 children ranging in age from 21 to 8. I have been blessed with a grandson. I adore my children and love seeing them grow in the Lord. For me it is hard to pick just one verse or section of scripture as a favorite. I guess I would choose as Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." This has helped through many things in life and has kept me smiling.

Hello Team. My name is Steven. I'm a 42 year old father of four. I have applied to become an M.Div Candidate beginning this summer/fall at Liberty University. I am about 15 - 20 years removed from my BA in Church Ministries, but I have wanted to earn an M.Div for a long time. I'm not going to over hype it, this is a big undertaking for me. I am currently the Lead Pastor of a church plant that has 300 in weekend attendance. My goal is to learn more about being a Pastor, the Bible, and preaching/teaching. I may or may not graduate from LU as they don't have a Thesis option for the online M.Div program. However, I'm hoping that before my journey is complete, they will. I'd really like to consider a possible PhD in the future after I "retire" from Ministry (as if there is such a thing). Well, have a great week and hopefully we will interact during these next few years.

I reside in New Jersey and love everything that Liberty has to offer. Just last week I drove to Liberty to tour the entire campus. It is a beautiful sight to behold!! Hello from Wisconsin! I live about 7 blocks from the shore of Lake Michigan where it is just now starting to get warm outside. I graduated from LU seminary in 2010 with the MAR and have returned this semester and am in process of meeting the admission requirements for the ThM. We have two grown adults that we used to call our children, 1-daughter (23) and 1-son (18). This Summer semester is my second semester after being out of school for 28 years. I am seeking a B.S in Psychology and Christian Counseling. This first class this summer has just started, but I can see between work, family and school I am going to need prayers. I have several favorite verses. But the scripture I want to share at this time is Acts 16: 16-40 (Paul and Silas Imprisoned). Hi, I am from Michigan, although I spent 10 years in Knoxville, Tennessee and was blessed to be able to speak openly about the Lord and my beliefs. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker currently working in the behavioral health ward of our local hospital, where I get to see God's work in so many people's lives. I lost my husband 4 years ago and my life has dramatically changed since then. I want to retire but felt I would not do well without direction. When I heard about Liberty University, the idea formed that I could spend my time off studying about God and the Word. I am starting a graduate certificate program in Pastoral Counseling. If God blesses me, I hope to complete a PhD program in Christian Counseling and spend my remaining years worshiping God.

Greetings to the Liberty Family- summer edition. I am Robert, a pastor from western Ohio. My wife and I will be married 30 years in August and we are blessed with a miracle daughter who God willing - will graduate from high school next spring. I am a senior in Biblical studies with a minor in Christian Counseling, and Lord willing - will finish in December. My favorite verse is Matthew 5:15 and given the number of people around me who were not raised on the Bible I quote it from the Message: "If I make you Light- Bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket do you? I'm putting you on light stand. Now that I've put you there, on a hilltop, on the light stand-- SHINE!" My passions are teaching, reading, and listening to music. I like to cook, walk in parks and the woods, helping my fellow veterans put their lives back together, and listening to good preaching and worship. A word of advice to those of you who are new to Liberty: Put it in your schedule to get involved with Convocation (m,w,f 10am eastern)and Campus Church (wed nights at 7:30 pm eastern) live during spring and fall semesters; as much as possible. It is the best way to feel closer to the Liberty Family, and to recharge your spiritual batteries. May the Lord our Savior bless each of you in your studies, your pursuit of Him, and in your ministry for the kingdom.

I spent the first 50 years of my life hopelessly lost and mired in the world. I completely ruined my testimony and was of no use to the Lord, or so I thought. I am a retired and disabled Bronze Star Vietnam veteran from Iowa, 65 years old, older than dirt, and have been saved now for the last 7 years. It was the movie "The Passion of the Christ" that brought me to the point where I finally "got it". I cried like a two year old. I still cry when I think of God's mercy and compassion. I was a person that was dead and He gave me life through His son Jesus Christ. I am enrolling in the B.S. in Religion courses with a minor in biblical studies. I am obeying God's voice to "get to know Me". Where I was a servant, even though unknowingly, to the evil one; now I am a servant to Jesus Christ and a follower of the way, the light and the truth. I am excited to see how He could use a wretch like me. Praise Him, praise Him, praise Him!

Hi, my name is Travis, I'm deaf and 28 years old. I live with my brother and his girlfriend and their little girl in Columbus, Ohio. I work at Kroger as bagger. For many years, I went through four different colleges, and this is fifth one, with no degrees and such. I made many mistakes, I haven't read my bible, therefore, I don't know many verses. BUT I do know stories, my favorite one is about 100 sheep, one that strays away and the Shepherd left 99 and looked for one. I feel like I'm that straying sheep as I wrote this post, I already read all of yours, some of your verses are good advice, thank you for that. Ironically, I'm majoring in BS for Christian Psychology. I don't know if this is path God chose for me or one I set for myself. I hope I don't mess up His plans.

I am the mother of three (3) daughters and my time is fully devoted to ensuring that they are brought up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. I am an entrepreneur but I also have experience in many areas of the financial industry. Hello my name is Ruby and I am a 61 soon to be 62 year old mother of three and grandmother of 10. I am from Lynchburg but I now live in Columbus Ohio. I graduated two years ago from Columbus State with my degree in Graphic Design. I chose Liberty because my family persuaded me and I wanted to go to a college that has a Christian Base to it. A number of my family members have graduated from Liberty and a number of them still attend and I along with my baby daughter have been accepted and will began classes in the fall. I am happy to be a part of the Liberty University family. I remember growing up in Madison Heights and the Thomas Road Buses coming to pick up the kids for summer camp. Hello, my name is Myrlande and I live in South Florida and I am 56 years old. I have two girls but they live in different states: California and Chicago. They are 30 and 26 years old. I have only been in Florida for a couple of years and I miss my friends and family in California where I resided for 14 years. I worked for 25 years as an accountant and financial manager in North California but since I lost my job in 2008 and I don't seem to be able to get a new job or figure out what the Lord want me to do. Hi Everyone. My name is Erika and I am the wife of an awesome retired Army NCO and the mom to 11 great kids, 9 of whom are still at home. We homeschool our children and love it, but it makes for wild days. We have adopted several of our kids, with 4 of them coming from Ukraine with a little something "extra", Down Syndrome. Hello, All! My name is Jane. I am currently living in Ohio. I am 46 years old and have been married to my wonderful husband for 27 years. We have three children, 24, 22, and 20. I was a stay at home, homeschool mom for 22 years while my husband served in the US ARMY. It is my turn to finish school and move on into the next chapter of life. Hello everyone. My name is David. I live in Leitchfield, Kentucky. I am 54 years old. I have been married to my wife, Robin, for almost 3 years. I have 2 sons, ages 25, and 27.
