Good day everyone, my name is Bryan. I am 19 years old and I am an Air Traffic Controller for the US Army. I am stationed in Alabama and this Friday, I am getting married to a beautiful woman that I know God has provided me with. I've been going to Church for as long as I can remember. I love the Lord and the Word and will follow Him till death and after. A big part of my life with God is music. Since I was 16 and started playing guitar, I would always join the Praise Team of my church if they had one, and now I can play bass, drums, lead, rhythm and acoustic guitar, and I sing. Why do I feel this is important information? Because I feel that without the work of God flowing through me, I never would have expanded my capabilities and have found the love of worshiping Him through song as much as I have. A goal I have is to gain my Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice - Homeland Security, and become an Alaska State Trooper in my hometown.

My name is Kenneth, but everyone calls me Kenny for short. I was born in in Bronx, New York. I currently live in Florida and I love going to church. I accepted Christ on March 18, 2007 and I've been going to a local church for 7 years. I help out in various ministries within the church. I was working at Disney World as a vacation greeter and vacation planner in 2013 for a year, part time. I will be soon transferring over to Liberty university Online to finish up my Bachelor's in criminal justice and continue on to my masters and doctors in social work and psychology. I am also looking to re-dedicate my life to Christ.

Hi - my name is Shiloh. This is my first semester at Liberty. I enjoy reading and nature. Animals are my passion though. I love all the amazing creations of God. My favorite verse is Psalms 103:1, "Bless the Lord, oh my soul and all that is within me. Bless His Holy name."

Greetings, my name is Ryan. I'm 23, working at Lowe's and beginning classes simultaneously as I await the closure of this tattoo removal. Once I finish getting rid of said tattoos, I will join the Navy. Ultimately, I want to be an Interpreter for the Deaf. I want to travel, learn, and prosper. I want to be smiled upon, and give Him the recognition that He deserves.

Hi I am Robert. I am a pastor in western Ohio. My wife and I will be married 30 years this summer. We have a wonderful daughter who is becoming an amazing worship leader in her congregation and a Christian mentor to many other teens. My passions are reading, hiking, and cooking. In ministry, my passion is teaching people to live for Christ, and become comfortable with being a Christian in the "real world". My ministry verse is Matthew 5: 15 "If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand. Now that I've put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand- SHINE!" (The Message translation) We as servant of Christ do no good for the Kingdom if we hide inside our "bucket", we can only impact the world for the Kingdom is we choose to Shine and let the world see Christ through us. As a wise man once said: "you and I may be the only Gospel some people will ever read"; what truth are we presenting to them? I am a senior with major in Religious Studies and a minor in in Christian Counseling. For all of you who are new to this, hang in there, you can do this! My favorite class so far was the CRST class on creation verses evolution. It is full of great information and science to engage in that topic in public with reason instead of just passion.

My name is Nicole and I am a stay-at-home Mom of two (ages 1 and 5), and also a military spouse. When I graduated from high school, I went straight to working full time instead of going to college. I have finally decided to pursue a degree - an Associates in Early Childhood Education. My faith in God is the strongest thing about me and I love to watch He is leading me. I know that, with Him, I will complete my studies here and be able to work in the day cares on the Army bases we are stationed at. I begin classes in May and am excited to DO THIS!!

Hello everyone! My name is Angie and I am new to LU. I am picking up where I left off 20+ years ago. Right after high school I started college but had no idea what I really wanted to be when I grew up. I got married, had three beautiful daughters, unfortunately got divorced and raised my three little ladies alone. After going through so many events of life, both blessings and trials, I believe God has brought me to LU to finally get the degree that I want. My "baby" is now 15 and I can begin focusing on my career. I am studying Business here at LU Online and am SO excited to be here about to begin my very first classes. I must say how refreshing and comforting it is to open my first book and see a Bible verse! I live in Indiana but plan on living in east Tennessee someday, I love spending time with my daughters (and brand new granddaughter!), I adore all animals and have a mini zoo at my house :), I love nature, hiking, reading, laughing, loving those in my life and just enjoying life! My favorite Bible verse is "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."~ Romans 8:38-39. Hope to get to know some of you! :)

Hi, My name is Jodi. This is my first year as an online student and I am enjoying it very much, I got ahead of myself this past week due to having yet another surgery and I keep thinking that I am in module3. I enjoy waking up every morning and giving thanks for seeing another day. After that I walk my dog and make my morning coffee and take my many medications. Once I have completed that, I sit down and do one of my favorite hobbies, that would be reading my Bible and doing my daily devotionals,(I have many). I am enrolled in Associates Degree of Applied Science For Medical Assistant. Something I am familiar with, the nursing field. I did plenty of that before I became disabled. I enjoy the simple things of life, Just taking in all the beautiful makings of our Father always amazes me. My hobbies are Farming/vegetables with my fiance' when I'm able, and enjoy reading, baking and cooking. My most favorite hobby is spending time with my grandchildren. I look forward to completing my Degree and walking down the aisle of the school to receive my Degree, also want to come and visit just to get a feeling of belonging. I forgot to mention that at this point I enjoy both of my classes and am learning a lot through both.

The Lord led me to Liberty University and it has been a rewarding experience. I look forward to completing my degree in church ministry and then begin to work on my master's degree. 1 Timothy 1:13-14, "Though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus."

Hi! I'm Kimberly, and I'm working towards a B.S in Biblical and Educational Studies, and my plan (I say that because the Lord's plan is often different!) is to be a missionary teacher! I live in Virginia, and am very involved in serving at my church, and I also volunteer at a local food pantry. I have struggled with anxiety and depression, so my favorite bible verse is definitely Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to the Lord. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus"

Hi my name is Christina. I live in rural Idaho. I have 2 boys, 19 & 16. My 19 year old is totally disabled. I am returning to finish what I started 20 years ago before becoming blessed with my 1st born. I was supposed to do this 3 years ago, after losing my well paying job of 15 years. But I was conditioned to be so self reliant I had a real hard time with the call, as it meant quitting and totally trusting the Lord for provision. Well, I justified my delay for a while, until it hit me that my delaying was still disobedience. I am on the road to become a licensed Christian crisis counselor. I really want to be where the Lord have me be so that I can help those dealing with immediate disaster, crime, suicide, abuse, mental illness, etc. This is my first module at LU and I am really enjoying it. I have always been one to seek knowledge. Apologetic study is really important to me. As an online learner, I must admit that I miss the face to face with peers. But that is really nothing in comparison to what I have gained.

Good Morning, My name is Vanessa McNish and I would like to take this opportunity to pray for all of you who are new to online schooling, trying to better your condition in a God based school. You are in the right place. God will help you to complete whatever your destiny is. He is able and willing to give you the Kingdom. I am a retired Law Enforcement Officer of twenty years. I am studying Criminal Justice with a Major in Forensics. After graduation, I plan on becoming a CSI agent in Florida. I love online classes because I can take care of my life issues at home while studying on the computer with a school that is spiritually based with instructors who care about my intellectual, as well as my spiritual growth. My favorite online class was INFT 101, because it helped me to become more organized to be able to do online classes. The instructors are so caring and consistent in the way they relate to us. I feel I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I have three adult children and five grandchildren, all of which I love and nurture very much. We all love the Lord. My favorite scripture is "We are a peculiar people, a royal priesthood, a Holy nation, come out of darkness into God's marvelous light." 1st Peter 2:9 (KJV). I serve my community by serving others. I am the Volunteer Coordinator at my church school with many volunteers from all over, even England. I am the Pastor's Aide President at my church, I sing in the choir and usher on the Youth usher board. My hobbies are making jewelry, gardening, cooking, sewing and reading. I believe in donating time to help others better themselves. My advice to all of you is to trust in the Lord with all your hearts. He will deliver you in all things. He is a deliverer, healer, comforter, and provider. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Be blessed!

I'm a recovering drug addict and alcoholic, and a transfer student from the University of Wisconsin network of schools. I love Jesus. He saved me. I switched from nothing to lifetime ministry. I love apologetics and I love practical application of the Bible. I would like to be an international itinerant preacher, but I'm open to Jesus guiding my path. I love Liberty University and I love studying online. I get great grades when the human element is less "in my face" you could say. Thanks!

I've worked as a nutrition coordinator for years. Also did private nursing and nurse's aide. Right now I'm off on workers compensation so I decided to go back to school to become a teachers aide. This is my first class at Liberty University. I used to work as computer helper when they first came out. Now I really don't know what to do on them. I do have a lot of moral support. I have a five year old grandson that I'm trying to teach sports like I did the rest of the kids. As of now I have trouble driving but I do take people to school and work. When I'm studying I'll take breaks and go do other things that need to be done in the house. I pray for guidance and give me strength to able to achieve and finish my courses.

Hello, I'm Kemonda(pronounced Key-mon-duh). I am a new Liberty student studying Business Administration for Healthcare Management. In the future, I would like to become a resident at LU. I love to work, interact and meet new people, sing(although I can't very well) and travel. My currently favorite verse is Isaiah 54:17 "No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn." Through every obstacle I have gone through thus far, I've managed to rise above everything that should have and could have held me back while alerting others that I won't give up!

Hello! I am new to Liberty University. I am currently living in South Korea as a military spouse and wanted to take the opportunity to use my GI Bill to get my degree. My goal is to complete a Bachelors in Criminal Justice with Forensics and Criminal Psychology as my cognates since I have been blessed with the time to do so here. I have completed a couple online classes while I was here as a soldier (which feels like ages ago but is actually 11 yrs), but am really nervous at the prospect of trying to complete my entire degree online. I'm extremely excited to get started though and look forward to meeting new friends along the way!

Hi my name is Ashley. I am 26 and have two beautiful children, my son is three and my daughter two. I am pursuing a degree in Psychology with Christian counseling. This is my first semester here and the first step I've taken at changing my life since becoming a widow in 2012. God has worked in my life in so many ways and I believe I am following His calling for me. My goal is to someday open a transitional home for women who have come from a rough background or just need help. I would like to teach them how to become independent and put trust in the Lord. I would have never have made it this far if it had not been for God, a lesson I would like to share with others! My life verses are Micah 7:7 & 7:8 "Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me." "Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me." Wait on the lord, He hears your cries and is always by your side!

This will be my first year taking courses online at Liberty and super stoked about it. I will be looking to finish a degree in biblical and educational studies with the aim to teach at the high-school level, and also be a chaplain in the army reserves. My dream job is to be a professor at a university and just sit and study the scriptures in depth all day and write academic articles and books on the subject. One of my favorite verses is MATT 11:11 "Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he."

I'm a new student. I'm retired. My wife and I work with those with limited means, to help them in areas where they are unable to help themselves. The overall goal for me in the coursework I'm attempting, is to work with my son and establish home based studies/churches, wherein the overriding goal is to teach scripture in greater depth, and to couple the knowledge with ongoing community based missionary work. Additionally, I would like to finish some research and write some books. Anyway, that's the goal.
