Seth Mullen joined the Liberty athletics department in August 2012, assuming the position of Assistant Director of Ticket Operations. He was promoted to his current position of Director of Ticket Sales in May 2018 after three years as the Associate Director of Ticket Operations. In his current role at Liberty, Mullen is the direct supervisor for the outbound athletics ticket sales team. He was instrumental in the creation of the outbound sales team while also maintaining his ticket operations duty before his promotion to Director of Ticket Sales. In their first year, the outbound sales team set new records in group revenue and ticket sales while being led by Mullen.
His responsibilities now include developing strategy to maximize season, group, and single-game ticket sales as well as revenue and customer retention for Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, and Baseball. Mullen also assists with the creation, planning and implementation of special ticket plans, projects, promotions, and programs. He currently holds membership in the National Association of Athletic Ticket Sales and Operations (NAATSO). He is a member of the Down Syndrome Association, and is FEMA Certified through the Emergency Management Institute. Mullen was also the recipient of the 2018 Support Staff of the Year Award for Liberty Athletics. Mullen holds a pair of degrees from Liberty. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport management in 2011, before earning a master's degree in sport administration in 2013. Mullen currently resides in Lynchburg.
