Kevin Kelenic assumed his role of Assistant Athletic Trainer in Sept. 2018.
In his current role, Kelenic is responsible for the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation for the Liberty men's and women's cross country and men's and women's track & field programs.
Kelenic previously served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for Club Sports at Liberty, working primarily with the men's lacrosse, men's hockey and women's hockey programs. He received his master's degree in human performance and sports nutrition (duel concentration) from Liberty in May 2017. After that, he worked at a high school in his home state of Wisconsin before returning to Liberty.
Kelenic earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Carroll in May 2014. He also did a semester-long internship at Minnesota in spring 2014, working with the wrestling and women's soccer teams.
Kelenic also completed his EMT-B in spring 2016 and his Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) certification in spring 2017.
Kelenic and his wife, Catharine, currently reside in Lynchburg with their dog Ellie.
