Rodney Duncan rejoined the Liberty women's tennis coaching staff in fall 2018 as a volunteer assistant coach. Duncan spent the previous year as an assistant coach at Longwood. Duncan's first stint as a volunteer assistant for the Lady Flames came during the 2016-17 academic year.
Duncan has extensive experience in coaching tennis, as he was a Wilson Tennis Camp Instructor from 2011-16. He also served as the Head Women's Tennis Coach at Holy Cross High School in Lynchburg from 2007-10 and worked at the Wooster Racket Club and Wooster Tennis camp in Wooster, Ohio from 1984-87.
Duncan graduated with a degree in business economics from the College of Wooster and played for a top-20 nationally-ranked Division III Wooster team. Duncan still holds the Wooster program record for most singles wins in a single season. As a senior, he led the Fighting Scots with 28 singles wins, three more than any player in school history.
Duncan resides in Lynchburg and has one son and one daughter.
