Jennifer Burris stepped into her position as Student-Athlete Development Coordinator in Aug. 2018.
In her current role, Burris is tasked with preparing student-athletes for life after sport holistically, through community service, career development, leadership initiatives and professional programming. Burris also serves as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C) Advisor.
Prior to coming to Liberty, Burris served as a Student-Athlete Development Graduate Intern at North Carolina from January-July 2018. She assisted in leadership development, career development counseling, life skills and community outreach. In summer 2017, she was a Student-Athlete Development Intern at Old Dominion.
Burris graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science from Longwood in May 2016. While at Longwood, she was a member of the Lancers' field hockey team. Burris then went on to obtain her of Master of Science degree in applied kinesiology & physiology from Florida in May 2018. She is also a PAADS Certified Professional Level Athlete Development Specialist.
Burris currently resides in Lynchburg.
