Mark Perdew stepped into his role of Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer in July 2016.
In his current position, Perdew is responsible for the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation for the Liberty baseball and men's soccer teams during their offseasons.
Perdew completed his undergraduate work at Liberty, earning a bachelor's degree in athletic training in 2014. A Dean's List honoree, he was also a recipient for two Liberty University Sports Medicine scholarships.
Perdew is currently pursuing a master's degree in public health – nutrition, which he expects to complete in 2018.
The Big Island, Va., native has also gained valuable experiences at in-state schools Radford and Richmond. Perdew was an intern at Radford from 2014-15, working with the softball and men's soccer programs for the Highlanders. At Richmond, Perdew served as intern for the Spiders' football, track & field and cross country teams from 2015-16.
Perdew currently lives in Lynchburg.
