Kelsey Harney stepped into her role as Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer in July 2016.
In her current role, Harney is responsible for the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation for the Liberty women's field hockey and lacrosse teams during their offseasons.
Prior to coming to Liberty, Harney interned at Radford in 2014 and 2015. In her time at Radford, she worked with the baseball and women's soccer programs during their offseasons. Harney worked with the cross country and women's lacrosse teams during their competitive seasons.
She obtained her bachelor's degree in athletic training from James Madison in 2014. Prior to her time at JMU, Harney played two seasons of Division II soccer at West Chester University.
She is currently pursuing a master's degree in exercise science with a cognate in nutrition, which she expects to complete in May 2018.
Harney currently resides in Lynchburg.
