Patrick Donigan stepped into his role as Assistant Director for Events and Facilities in Sept. 2017.
In his current role, Donigan is the event management and facilities contact for cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field. His primary responsibilities include game day operations for track & field and cross country meets, while also assisting at other athletic events. His duties also include maintaining the Liberty University Indoor Track Complex.
Prior to assuming his current role, Donigan worked with the Liberty track & field program in various positions from 2013-17. He has worked numerous meets, varying from local high school and collegiate meets to meets such as the Virginia Commonwealth Games, VA Showcase, VHSL championships and collegiate championship such as the Big South, ASUN and CIAA Championships.
Donigan also competed for the Flames' track & field team from 2012-15 as a high jumper. He earned All-Big South honors in 2013, placing third in the high jump at the Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Donigan is pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology at Liberty, which he expects to complete in Dec. 2019.
Donigan currently resides in Lynchburg.
