Heather Wyatt began in her role of Graduate Assistant for Compliance in July 2016 following a year of serving as intern in the compliance department in Liberty athletics.
Wyatt serves as the primary compliance contact for swimming & diving, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's track & field and cheerleading.
In her current role, Wyatt is responsible for Bylaw 17 legislation (playing and practice season). She also provides Oversight of the Student Assistance Fund (SAF), donation requests, occasional meals, as well as student-athlete outside competition, fee for lessons and employment.
On home game days, Wyatt has distributed tickets and managed the entrance for recruits and those affiliated with players and coaches. She has also assisted the office with daily tasks that pertain to the collegiate sports legal system.
Wyatt graduated summa cum laude from Liberty in May 2016, receiving a bachelor's degree in government – politics & policy. Wyatt was an honors program graduate, symphony orchestra cellist and cross country and track & field student-athlete as an undergraduate student.
She is currently pursuing a master's degree in sport management – sport administration, which she expects to complete in May 2018.
Originally from Virginia Beach, Va., Wyatt currently resides in Lynchburg.
