Amanda Rider rejoined the Liberty Athletics department in August 2016 and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations for University Events.
In her current role at Liberty, Rider is responsible for all ticket operations of non-athletic university events as well as assisting in game day operations for football, men's and women's basketball and baseball. She also helps to conduct the daily operations within the ticket office.
Rider currently holds membership in the National Association of Athletic Ticket Sales and Operations (NAATSO). She volunteered at the NCAA Men's Basketball 1st and 2nd Rounds in Denver, CO in 2016.
She graduated from Liberty in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management and a minor in coaching and then again in 2014 with her Master's Degree in Sport Administration, graduating with honors. The Michigan native began working in Liberty's ticket office as a practicum student in August 2010. Rider was promoted from that position to an event assistant from 2011-2013 before finishing as a graduate assistant. After graduation, she moved to Colorado as a missionary before moving back to Lynchburg in 2016 where she currently resides.
