Chris Dunfee returned to his alma mater in 2012 to take over the position of Head Athletics Equipment Manager. Dunfee oversees the equipment services for all intercollegiate sports and manages the day-to-day equipment operations for the Flames football program.
Dunfee graduated from Liberty in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in sport management. During his undergraduate career, Dunfee helped as a student equipment manager. He then served as an equipment manager graduate assistant at Illinois State from 2007-09. Dunfee graduated from Illinois State with a master's degree in business administration in 2009. Prior to coming back to Liberty, Dunfee worked at Georgia State as the Assistant Equipment Manager from 2010-12. While at Georgia State, Dunfee was responsible for the equipment services for all Olympic sports. Dunfee has been a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association since 2009.
Dunfee and his wife, Kerensa, reside in Lynchburg.
