More bowl tie-ins are coming for Flames football. Monday, Liberty Athletics Director Ian McCaw announced a six-year deal with ESPN beginning in 2020 that includes six secondary bowl tie-ins for the Flames. Those games include the Boca Raton bowl, the Camellia Bowl, the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl, the Myrtle Beach Bowl and the New Mexico Bowl.
Liberty also maintains it's secondary tie-in this year for the AutoNation Cure Bowl - and the countdown to kickoff for Flames Football is now at four days. Liberty and No. 22 Syracuse will meet Saturday at 6 p.m. at Williams Stadium in Lynchburg.
