• Named to the Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District® team
• Named Liberty's Defensive Player of the Week after the Old Dominion game
• Started 11 games and missed the UMass game with an injury
• Tied for the team lead with 76 tackles (46 solo, 30 assisted)
• Also added two pass breakups, an interception and a tackle for a loss
• Finished 9-of-11 games with six or more tackles
• Helped the Flames open their FBS era of football with a win over Old Dominion, recording eight tackles (three solo, five assisted)
• Seven tackles (five solo, two assisted) at New Mexico State and home against Troy
• Eight stops at Virginia (four solo, four assisted)
• Finished the Auburn game with a season-high 12 tackles (five solo, seven assisted), including a tackle for a loss (one yard)

• Named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll
• Played in all 11 games, starting the final four games at free safety

• Played in each of Liberty's first 10 games of season before missing the finale at No. 16 Coastal Carolina

• Recorded three tackles (two solo, one assisted) in first career game at Virginia Tech
• Posted two solo stops at Presbyterian
• Received team's Samkon Gado Award during spring practice in 2016, given to the most improved special teams player
