Fogle concluded her freshman campaign with a program-record 54 draw controls on the year.
Freshman attacker Kacie Fogle has been named to the 2012 National Lacrosse Conference (NLC) All-Tournament Team. The announcement was made Sunday afternoon following the conference's championship game at Davidson's Richardson Stadium.
Fogle was one of three Lady Flames to tally four goals on the weekend, while grabbing 17 draw controls between the two contests.
On Friday against Detroit, the New Windsor, Md., native found the back of the net twice, while also grabbing a game-high six draw controls.
Then, facing Presbyterian College on Saturday, Fogle provided two more scores and chipped in a pair of assists for a team high four points. Playing strong on the draw circle once again, Fogle single-handedly equaled PC's team total of 11 draw controls on the afternoon. The performance bested her previous single-game program record of nine, set against the Blue Hose in the regular season.
Fogle has closed her freshman campaign strongly, as she earned starts in six of the team's final seven games. In the span she has tallied 11 goals and 39 draw controls.
She paced the Lady Flames in draw controls on the year with 54, setting a new single-season record. She also finished the year ranking fourth on the team in goals, scoring 14 times.
