Seniors Giancarlo Lemmi, Tristan Stayt and Mandeep Yadav will be honored, Friday.

With the 2012 season winding down, the Liberty men's tennis team will honor its three seniors, Friday, as they host UNC Asheville for a Big South matchup at 1 p.m.

The Flames are coming off a 5-2 win over Longwood, Tuesday, in their last road match of the regular season.  After tomorrow's meeting with the Bulldogs, Liberty will host its regular-season finale next Friday with Radford coming to town.

Giancarlo Lemmi, Tristan Stayt and Mandeep Yadav serve as the Flames' trio of seniors which will be recognized tomorrow.  Lemmi has been a constant in head coach Chris Johnson's lineup ever since his freshman season.  The Sao Paulo, Brazil native has posted double-digit win totals in both singles and doubles in each of his four years.  He is the program's all-time wins leader for both singles (70) and doubles matches (77).

Stayt has recorded 46 singles wins and 55 doubles victories during his time at Liberty, to rank in the program's top-five for both categories.  The New Zealand native has posted eight singles wins this season, while forming a strong doubles team with Shea Thomas, as the duo have recorded an 11-1 mark.

Yadav has come on strong for the Flames this season, going 7-1 in singles play.  He has taken his last seven matches, while also posting seven doubles wins with three different partners. The Chandigarh, India native currently owns 20 career singles wins and 24 doubles victories.

UNC Asheville will bring a 10-7 mark to the Hill City, with an unbeaten conference record of 3-0.  The Bulldogs have knocked off Campbell, Winthrop and Gardner-Webb in their Big South matches so far this season.

Two Bulldogs have eclipsed the 10-win mark this season.  No. 1 player Adrien Langeard is 10-7, while Jonas Brobeck is 11-6.

Asheville has yet to drop a doubles contest in conference play, going 9-0.  Brobeck and Matt Waissen are 12-5 for the spring, while Langeard and Thomas Rees are tied for the team lead in victories with a 12-4 mark.

The Lady Flames are also in action Friday at 1 p.m. against UNC Asheville, and live updates will be available for both matches.
