Head coach Turner Gill and the Flames had to wait two extra days to get in Practice No. 2 of their spring practice schedule due to inclement weather most of the day on Saturday.
However, when the Flames finally got the chance to return the field on Monday, the two-plus hour workout was held under ideal weather conditions on Monday afternoon.
Following the team's final day in "shells," FSN reporter Alan York had a chance to catch up with Gill to discuss what the first-year head coach has seen from his squad following two practices.
Liberty will now return to its normal practice schedule (Tuesday and Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning). Tomorrow, the Flames will hit the turf at Williams Stadium in full pads for the first time this spring.
Following tomorrow night's workout, York will be talking with Joe Dailey, Liberty's quarterback coach, where the two will discuss the development of the Flames' offensive leader for 2012.
