Day Two Recap
The Liberty swimming team enters day three on Saturday at the 2012 CCSA Swimming and Diving Championships in second place, with 367.5 points. Three-time defending champion Florida Gulf Coast leads the women's competition after two days at Gabrielsen Natatorium.
On day two, Liberty posted five top-three finishes, six program records, one NCAA B cut and one event victory. Bethany Wakeley won the 100 fly, giving the Lady Flames their third victory of the meet. Brye Ravettine placed second in the 100 back, and Liberty's 200 medley relay and 800 free relay took second as well.
This morning, Liberty will have entrants in the 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke and 200 fly.
Today's action will feature pool-side, live blog coverage as the Lady Flames compete in Athens. Look for coverage to begin shortly before the 10 a.m. prelims start with an interactive blog, where all are invited to interact with questions and comments.
