Fans of the Liberty Lady Flames Women's Basketball team will get to know the players on this year's team a little better through a new series entitled "One-On-One With ...".  The initial installment features a question-and-answer session with senior guard Michelle Parker.

What is your favorite sport to play, other than basketball?
Why did you decide to attend Liberty?
Because of the Christian atmosphere and because I thought it would be nice to get away from home.
If you could eat dinner with three other people, who would they be and why?
My mother, my grandfather and my grandmother because they have been there for me and words can't express how much they mean to me. It doesn't have to be anyone famous.  I just like to keep it simple and all in the family!!!
Who was your favorite athlete while growing up and who is it now?
Michael Jordan while growing up and it is currently Dwyane Wade. (Go Heat!!)
Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
Jesus, because of the many cool miracles He made happen and most of all, because He created me.
What is one event in history that you wish you could've witnessed?
Any of the Olympics held outside the U.S.
Who is the most famous person you've met?
Dr. Jerry Falwell.
What website do you visit the most frequently?, because I am a shoe & clothes-lover.
What is your favorite restaurant?
Red Lobster, of course.
What is the first question you'll ask God when you get to Heaven?
Can you turn the water into wine again?
What DVD do you wear out the most?

What is the best part about playing on the Liberty women's basketball team?
Everyone knows who I am.
If you could play one-on-one with anyone, who would it be?
Shaquille O'Neal.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
Becoming head coach at a historically black college in Florida or Texas.
