Kallie Corbin came up with her fourth triple-double.

Despite losing the first two games Saturday afternoon at Radford, the Liberty volleyball team was able to rally for a 3-2 (27-30, 26-30, 30-28, 30-23, 15-13) road victory in its regular season finale. The triumph at the Dedmon Center allowed the Lady Flames to wrap up the No. 3 seed in the Big South Volleyball Championship.

The Lady Flames, who completed a season sweep of the Highlanders and won for the 11th-consecutive time in the in-state rivalry, are now 11-17 overall. Liberty's final Big South mark of 9-5 represents a reversal of last season's 5-9 conference record.

Radford will enter the Big South Championship as the No. 7 seed as it tied for sixth in the conference standings at 4-10. The Highlanders are 8-18 overall.

On Tuesday, the Lady Flames won the first two games of their home match-up with East Tennessee State before dropping a 3-2 decision. This afternoon, Liberty had the chance to experience a comparable match from the opposite perspective.

Freshman setter Kallie Corbin (Beaverton, Ore.) recorded her second-straight triple-double and her fourth this season, finishing with a career-best 14 kills to go along with 45 assists, 20 digs and two of Liberty's seven service aces.

Junior right-side hitter Mary Alice Pike (Durham, N.C.) nearly posted a triple-double of her own, totaling 14 kills, eight assists and 10 digs. Autum Black (Sr., MB, Mingoville, Pa.) added 10 kills and six blocks. Alysson Sanders (R-So., OH, Bear, Del.) made it four Lady Flames with double-digit kill totals, finishing with 10 kills and a career-high 21 digs.

Junior libero Lara Bartolomeo (Huntington Beach, Calif.) led Liberty with 28 digs. She has now recorded 20 or more digs in six-straight matches. Her 482 total digs are the fourth-best single-season figure in program history.

Radford's Lexi Miller led all players with 21 kills. The Highlanders' Rachel Newton notched 30 digs.

The Lady Flames will host a Big South Volleyball Championship first-round match Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at the Vines Center. Liberty's opponent will be Coastal Carolina (9-22, 4-10 Big South), the sixth seed in the conference tournament. The Lady Flames swept the Chanticleers this season, taking a pair of 3-1 verdicts.
