Rising Programs

The Liberty baseball team has been named as one of College Baseball's Rising Progams by Rivals.com.

The Liberty program was mentioned along with Auburn, Oregon, Washington State, New Mexico, Connecticut, Pitt, Texas State, Florida International and Florida Atlantic.

Last season, the Flames posted a school record for wins with a 42-19 overall mark. Liberty will open its fourth year under head coach Jim Toman on Feb. 18 in Macon, Ga., against Mercer. The Flames' first home game of the season will be on March 4 at Worthington Stadium. Liberty will host Binghamton at 3 p.m.
