Hosted by Alan York, the new "Voice of the Flames," and Nick Pierce, this week's show is slated to air on Victory FM on Saturday at 1 p.m. The show can be heard live by turning your radio dial to 88.3 FM, the flagship station for the FSN radio network, as well as by listening to the audio stream by clicking the link above. York and Pierce have already released two football preview shows earlier this month. The first was a 30-minute recap show from Big South Football Media Day in Charlotte, N.C., while the second was an offensive preview show that originally aired last Saturday afternoon. During this Saturday's defensive preview show, the FSN radio duo will take a closer look at Liberty's defensive unit, starting with an in-depth interview with fifth-year defensive coordinator Tom Clark. Following the segment with Clark, three of Liberty's defensive leaders will have a chance to speak during interview segments with Terry Adams (defensive end), Doncel Bolt (linebacker) and Brent Vinson (defensive back). Last year, Liberty's defense finished the season ranked No. 24 nationally in scoring defense (19.09 points per game), marking the third time in the last four years Liberty has finished inside the Top 25 in the statistical category. Liberty also ranked No. 1 in the country in turnover margin (+1.91) thanks to 29 turnovers gained, including 17 interceptions. This Saturday's show will mark the second of three-straight Saturday afternoon broadcasts which will feature 2010 football previews. FSN will wrap up their Flames Football Preview Show on Aug. 28 with a show dedicated to Liberty's special teams units. The final installment of the series will air at 1 p.m., on Victory FM (88.3 FM).
