The Liberty Flames Football Preview Show, which is produced by the Flames Sports Network (FSN), returns this Saturday, with a 30-minute special look at Liberty's 2010 offense.

Hosted by Alan York, the new "Voice of the Flames," and Nick Pierce, this week's show is slated to air on Victory FM on Saturday at 1 p.m. The show can be heard live by turning your radio dial to 88.3 FM, the flagship station for the FSN radio network, as well as by listening to the audio stream by clicking the link above.

York and Pierce released their first Flames Football Preview show following the 2010 Big South Football Media Day (click here to hear an archived copy). During this week's 30-minute show, the preview will take an in-depth look at Liberty's 2010 offense.

Under second-year offensive coordinator Brandon Streeter, the Flames will be looking to repeat last year's performance, when Liberty finished the year ranked No. 1 in the country in scoring offense (36.36 points per game).

York had a chance to sit down for a one-on-one interview with Streeter. He also had a chance to talk with Justin Vargas, a senior offensive lineman, who looks strong this August after sitting out spring practice because of an injury. Vargas is one of four seniors who are slated to start on Liberty's offensive line this year.

Pierce will add two additional interviews, as had a chance to talk with wide receiver B.J. Hayes and running back Korrey Davis.

Although Hayes was listed as a wide receiver in 2009, he finished the year with twice as many rushing attempts (40 for 247 yards and two touchdowns) as receptions (15 receptions for 119 yards). Davis will be taking to the field for the first time this year, as the former Massachusetts running back had to sit out last year due to NCAA transfer rules. Davis, a local product out of Heritage High School, will be one of three running backs vying for time in the Flames' backfield for 2010.

This Saturday's show will mark the first of three-straight Saturday afternoon broadcasts which will feature 2010 football previews. FSN will run a defensive preview on Aug. 21 and a special teams show on Aug. 28. Both future shows will air at 1 p.m., on Victory FM.
