Flames Club members at the Director's Level ($2,500) and higher had seat selection priority for the 2010 Liberty football season on Thursday.
Director's Day Photo Gallery For the fourth consecutive year, the Flames Club held its annual Director's Day Thursday inside the Williams Football Operations Center Donor Room, allowing members to secure priority seating for the 2010 Liberty football season. From 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., members at the Flames Club Director's Level ($2,500) and higher selected their seats during designated time slots, in priority order based upon their membership level and amount of loyalty points accumulated.
Refreshments were provided by LU Dining Services and served in the Donor Room overlooking the field at Williams Stadium. Liberty's latest Sasser Cup Trophy was also on display, along with the football program's three consecutive Big South title trophies. While stopping by to select their seats, members could also catch a glimpse of the expansion project taking place at Williams Stadium. Upon completion of the first phase, the newly renovated Williams Stadium will be able to seat 19,200 and include a brand new five-story tower, equipped with a fully functional press box, an 11,000-square foot Flames Club Pavilion, 18 luxury suites and an academic center.
The Flames Club's mission is to raise financial support for Liberty Athletics, and to help ensure that LU coaches and student-athletes have everything that they need to compete for conference and national championships. Members can receive preferred parking, seating, and pre-game dining privileges; based upon membership level.
