The Big South Conference announced its annual postseason awards on Monday, with three Flames receiving honors – Kyle Ohman, Evan Gordon and Jeremy Anderson.

Ohman was named to Big South's all-conference second team, becoming the 14th player in school history to receive the accolade. Ohman, a native of Mechanicsburg, Pa., became the third player in school history to record a triple-double, when he posted 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists at VMI on Jan. 2. With the three-category achievement, the senior captain joined teammate Jesse Sanders and Ed Gomes as the only players to accomplish the feat while donning a Liberty jersey.

Ohman joined another elite group on Jan. 14, as he recorded his 1,000th point against the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs, becoming the 21st member of Liberty's 1000-point club. Playing in his final contest inside the Vines on Feb. 20 versus High Point, Ohman went out in style, dropping a career-high 39 points on the Panthers. His scoring effort ranks as the 10th highest single-game scoring mark in school history. He also achieved a single-game record that night in most free throw attempts in a contest with 25. Ohman finished out the regular season ranked sixth in the conference in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game.

Gordon was named to this year's all-freshman team, marking the third straight year a Liberty rookie has made the list. Gordon concluded the regular season ranked 18th in the Big South in scoring, averaging 12.2 points per game. A native of Indianapolis, Ind., Gordon also leads the Flames in field goals made with 127. Gordon earned the Big South Freshman of the week honor on Jan. 4 for his pair of performances in the UCF Classic in Orlando, Fla., (Dec. 29-31) as well as his 24-point scoring effort against VMI on Jan. 2. The freshman finished out the regular season on a positive note, tying his career-high of 24 points against Charleston Southern this past Saturday, en route to a 74-61 win over the Bucs.

Anderson rounds out Liberty's trio of all-conference honorees, as he was named to the Big South All-Academic Team. Holding a cumulative 4.0 GPA, Anderson led the Flames in three-point field goals during the regular season with 52. The Bowling Springs, Ky., native was also ranked 10th in the conference in three-pointers made, knocking down an average of 1.73 treys per contest. The sharp shooter's proficiency was evident on Feb. 13, as he went 4-of-7 from downtown and finished with a season-high 17 tallies.
