Former Flames All-American and current Jacksonville Jaguars running back Rashad Jennings will be signing autographs on Saturday at B&C Sports Cards and Collectibles in a coordinated effort to help raise money for the Haiti relief efforts.

B&C Sports Cards and Collectibles, located inside the River Ridge Mall, will also be giving 10 percent of its proceeds from the day to Gleaning for the World. Jennings is scheduled to sign autographs from Noon to 2 p.m., and Gleaning for the World will be accepting donations for each autograph.

Gleaning for the World seeks to provide life-saving support to communities in critical need throughout the world by applying a powerful concept called "gleaning." The non-profit organization provides surplus medical and essential supplies to humanitarian projects worldwide. Gleaning for the World provides expedited distribution channels, efficient logistical support and dependable service between corporate donors and mission groups at the lowest possible cost.

Jennings just finished his first year with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The NFL rookie saw action in 15 games, rushing for 202 yards and a touchdown, while adding 101 receiving yards. Jennings became Liberty's first NFL draftee in 20 years, when the Forest, Va., native was selected by the Jaguars in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

In 2008, Jennings helped the Flames capture their second-straight Big South title and finish the year with a program best 10-2 record and a No. 14 final ranking in the national polls.

The running back rushed for a program and Big South-record 1,500 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior. He ranked No. 5 nationally in rushing yards per game (136.36), No. 6 in scoring (10.36 points per game) and No. 16 in average all-purpose yards per game (153.64) in 2008.

Jennings, a two-time Big South Offensive Player of the Year, was a consensus first-team All-American and finished eighth in the final voting for the 2008 Walter Payton Award.

During his career, Jennings rushed for 3,633 yards, which ranks second best in program history, while setting a new program and Big South standard with 42 career rushing touchdowns. His 278 career points scored are the most ever by a Liberty student-athlete and the second most by a non-kicking player in conference history.
