This week's Coach's Corner features words from head coach Dale Layer as well as point guard Jesse Sanders. The Flames play host to Kentucky Christian, Saturday at 1 p.m.

With its first two conference games under its belt, the Liberty men's basketball team (4-6, 1-1 Big South) is preparing for its meeting with Kentucky Christian on Saturday. The matchup marks the third contest in Liberty's five-game homestand. Tipoff is slated for 1 p.m.

Recently, Nick Pierce caught up with head coach Dale Layer to discuss the Flames' recent performances as well as their progress thus far in the 2009-10 season. Some of the topics Layer and Pierce discussed include:
