Today's "Open Net" segment features Lady Flame Ashley Nyholt.

Today, the "Open Net" segment highlights Ashley Nyholt, a junior from Brampton, Ontario.

Nyholt, a goalkeeper, appeared in five games and started in four for the Lady Flames. She transitioned into the role of starting goalkeeper late in the season, and recorded four shutouts.

Nyholt was named the Big South Player of the Week for the final week of the regular season, and was also named to the Big South All-Tournament Team.

Nyholt, a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, posted the most shutouts in her final season with the Ontario Youth Soccer League. Her twin sister, Laura, is a midfielder for the Lady Flames.
