Following yesterday afternoon's practice, LibertyFlames.com's Vincent Briedis had a chance to visit with head coach Danny Rocco, where he talked with Rocco about the Flames' upcoming game against James Madison.

The contest, which is the only matchup nationally between two Top 25 programs this weekend, renews an old rivalry for the Flames. No. 6/7 Liberty has squared off against No. 24/25 James Madison 14 previous times, with the Dukes holding a 9-5 edge in the series.

During the game, the Flames will be looking to extend their winning streak against Top 25 teams, as Liberty has come out victorious in its last three meetings against nationally ranked programs. However, the Flames are winless in 12 previous attempts against Top 10 ranked teams.

Below are the questions posed to Rocco following the Flames' final tune-up before their meeting with the Dukes at Williams Stadium on Saturday:

• Following a solid effort by your team the past two weeks, including a road victory at Lafayette, how has the team's overall focus been this week?
• Your defense has put together back-to-back stellar performances, holding two consecutive opponents under 300 total offensive yards. What is it going to take to have a similar type of performance this weekend against James Madison?
• Similar to Liberty, James Madison has two viable options at quarterback. Looking back at your tenure here at Liberty, which opposing quarterbacks are similar to the Dukes pair of hurlers?
• It has been several years since Liberty has faced James Madison. What do you consider to be one of James Madison's strengths during that time span that has allowed them to become of the top FCS programs in the nation?
• Liberty has had success against ranked opponents in recent years. How might the team's prior success against those ranked opponents help this year's young team when it takes to the field against James Madison?
• The Athletics Department has already seen a record number of tickets sold for Saturday's game against the Dukes. After a strong showing during the team's home opener against North Carolina Central, what will it mean to your team to see a sea of red in Williams Stadium when the Flames take the field on Saturday night?
