Today, the "Rounding the Bases" segment highlights Amber DePasquale, a sophomore from The Woodlands, Texas.

DePasquale has made 45 game starts, all in center field. She ranks third on the team in batting average (.254), and ranks fourth in both runs scored (12) and hits (29). She has successfully stolen six bases out of seven attempts.

DePasquale is a graduate of The Woodlands High School, where she was a four-year softball letterwinner.

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?

What has been your favorite class at Liberty and why?

GNED 102 with Dr. Matthews, because all freshman softball players were in the same class and it was awesome.

In tee-ball I was playing second and the ball was hit to me and I just stood in the base line. I was not going to let the girl on first get to second, but I let all the runners score.

If you could be somebody else for a day, who would you be and why?
Jenna, because she's fast like a cheetah.

The best part of being a Liberty student-athlete is …

Winthrop, because they are defending Big South champions.

What is the best book you have ever read (other than the Bible)?
The "It Girl" series because I love the drama and gossip, and thank God that I don't have that in my life.

If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
To shoot spaghetti out of my fingers. It would be funny, and you would always have food with you.

The TV show I can't live without watching each week is (and why) ...
Gossip Girl, because it's gossip. And it's just pure awesomeness.

If I were named "Coach for a Day", I would make my coaches (and why) …

Do nothing, because I would be a cool coach.

My favorite thing about being a part of the Liberty softball team is (and why) …
That all the girls are just awesome.

If you could have dinner with three people throughout history, who would they be and why?
Jim Carrey, Dane Cook and Ben Stiller, because they are all hilarious and that would be one fun date!
