The Croatan High School graduate was a three-time softball all-conference and all-area honoree, and was named her team's MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior.

Getting to know Jenna Eatmon

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Matthew 6:34. "Therefore, do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." It reminds me that my future is in God's hands and He knows exactly what will happen.

What has been your favorite class at Liberty and why?
I enjoyed Dr. Towns' Bible 110 class because he's hilarious and it's cool to know I'm learning from such a prominent figure in society.

I know it's not good for me, but I love to eat …
Birthday cake remix at Cold Stone… but I always ask for low-fat cake batter ice cream!

What was the best movie you watched over the last year?
Talladega Nights is the best movie ever, no matter what year I watch it… because "If you ain't first, you're last."

I came to Liberty because …
I heard J'nae Jefferson and Jessica Leary were there.

Share something about one of your teammates that someone outside the program would never know without you telling them.
Amber eats pickles, mustard and ketchup sandwiches, and her brother is a stud.

Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
My favorite Bible character is Job, because he never doubted his faith in God through all the trials he faced.

My earliest memory while competing in my sport is …
Playing shortstop in rec ball and turning an unassisted triple play.

If you could be somebody else for a day, who would you be and why?

I would be Michael Phelps, just so I could say I'm the world's best at something… eight times.

The best part of being a Liberty student-athlete is …
Being able to represent my school and the Lord while doing something I love. It's also rewarding to see all of our hard work pay off.

My dream job would be …

To be a best-selling author.

What is the best book you have ever read (other than the Bible)?
The Last Summer of You and Me.

If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
I'd either have lightning-fast speed like J'nae, bomb-hitting capabilities like Leary, or super driving skills like Amber.

The TV show I can't live without watching each week is (and why) ...
What I Like About You, because Amanda Bynes is hilarious; and The Secret Life of an American Teenager, because it has a great message.

If I were named "Coach for a Day", I would make my coaches (and why) …
First, I would make them run a 7-minute mile, then do the 300 shuttle. And I would make them all wear ribbons!

My favorite thing about being a part of the Liberty softball team is (and why) …
Hanging out with the girls and talking in awful accents. And I enjoy competing and seeing the results of our hard work.

If you could have dinner with three people throughout history, who would they be and why?

Will Ferrell, Bernie Mac and Mitch Hedberg, because that would be a hilarious meal. But I'll just settle for a meal with Will.

My personal goals this season are …
To run faster, to hit harder, and to help my team bring one home in every way possible.

If someone would look at the songs on my iPod, I would be embarrassed for them to see I have this song …
All the songs J'nae has put on my iPod, like Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers.

The first thing people notice about me when they meet me is …
My dimples.

When you were a child, what did you want to be "when you grew up" and are you pursuing it still as a career/profession after graduation?
I wanted to be a bird, and I'm still aspiring to achieve that goal.
