Today, the "Rounding the Bases" segment features Cassie Hendrix, a sophomore from Indianapolis, Ind.

Hendrix has started in 44 of 46 games for the Lady Flames this season, all at second base. She has recorded 19 hits on the year, and has safely hit in five of the last eight games. She is tied for first on the team with seven stolen bases (out of seven attempts), and is tied for third with 11 runs scored.

Hendrix is a graduate of North Central High School, where she was named all-county and all-conference as a junior and senior.
