The Liberty baseball program has announced the signing of four student-athletes, who will join the Liberty Flames for the 2009-2010 academic year. They will join the previous seven student-athletes, who signed with Liberty last November in the early signing period.

"We are very excited to add these four outstanding student-athletes to our program," said Liberty Head Coach Jim Toman. "These young men will represent Liberty University and its mission in a first class manner, both on and off the field."

These new additions will help bolster the Liberty pitching corps as well as add some power to the lineup. The group is comprised of two Junior College transfers and two High School seniors. Josh Healy (Atlantic Shores Christian School) and Justin Sizemore (Maiden H.S.) are big, athletic players who bring a variety of skills to the Liberty program. Austin Bridgewater (Walters St. C.C.) and Keegan Linza (NW Florida State College) are both right-handed pitchers, who should make an immediate impact on the mound for Liberty next year.
