Liberty is ranked No. 15 in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll, released Monday evening. It marks the third straight week the Flames have been ranked in the Top 25.

On Dec. 8 Liberty was ranked No. 13, marking the first time the Flames have appeared in the Top 25, after receiving votes the week prior (49) and for three straight weeks early in the 2006-07 season. Liberty was ranked No. 12 on Dec. 15, but fell two spaces after tough road losses at DePaul (63-64) and Saint Louis (70-73).

VMI is listed at No. 19, moving up from No. 21. Two weeks ago marked the first time in league history the Big South Conference had two teams recognized on the list.

Liberty is in action this week in Las Vegas, Nev., playing Northern Colorado on Monday and USC Upstate on Tuesday at the Orleans Arena.
