Men's Hoops Ranked No. 12 in Mid-Major Poll

Liberty is ranked No. 12 in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll, released Monday evening. It marks the second straight week the Flames have been ranked in the Top 25.

On Dec. 8 Liberty was ranked No. 13, marking the first time the Flames have appeared in the Top 25, after receiving votes last week (49) and for three straight weeks early in the 2006-07 season.

VMI is still listed at No. 21. Last week marked the first time in league history the Big South Conference had two teams recognized on the list. 

The Flames moved up one spot in the poll this week while being idle.  Liberty will play three games this week with a home contest with Anderson, before traveling to DePaul (Wed.) and Saint Louis (Fri.).
