As the web site did last year, LibertyFlames.com met with head football coach Danny Rocco following Thursday's afternoon practice to get a final update on the team's preparation for its Saturday afternoon's match-up with future Big South foe Presbyterian at Bailey Memorial Stadium.

Below is a list of questions LibertyFlames.com asked Rocco, wrapping up comments from the team's shutout victory over Charleston Southern, the squad's continued offensive prowess and Liberty's preparation for this weekend's match-up with Presbyterian:

1. After suffering a loss to Lafayette, how pleased were you to see your team rebound with not only a victory over Charleston Southern, but one in resounding fashion on both sides of the playing field?
2. Your team scored touchdowns on its first five possessions against the Buccaneers last weekend. Do you think scoring early and often helped restore some confidence in your offense, after struggling to find a rhythm the week before hand?
3. Your team continues to find ways to pick up first downs, as you now lead the nation in third-down conversion percentage. How important is it to have a team that understands how to move the chains down the field?
4. Jonathan Crawford and Dominic Bolden have posted back-to-back 100-yard receiving games over the last two weeks. How have these two receivers developed this year into viable offensive threats for your program?
5. Last week, you had two players, who are not well known for big tackle totals in Wes Cheek and Larry Claiborne, step up and showcase their abilities. How important is it to have players step up like that and provide a needed boost to the squad at different times throughout the year?
6. Speaking of Larry Claiborne, the freshman made a big play last week by blocking a punt, which quickly turned into a touchdown. How pleased were you to see your special teams rebound against Charleston Southern, considering some of the struggles they had the week prior?
7. Last week, Brock Smith surpassed the 6,000 career passing mark with another solid performance against Charleston Southern. How impressed are you with his abilities as a quarterback to find yards, while leading an offense that has predominately been known for its running efforts?
8. Last year, Presbyterian had some success against Big South opponents, picking up wins over VMI and Coastal Carolina. What did you learn about them from their first go around against league competition last season and are you expecting a different type of team than you faced last year?
9. Linebacker Antwan Thomas is the leading tackler on Presbyterian's roster and one of the tops in the Big South Conference. Who can you compare this linebacker to, whether it is someone on the Flames' roster or someone from one of the teams Liberty has already faced this year?
10. Your team will be playing its first road game in nearly a month on Saturday when it takes to the field against the Blue Hose. What kind of challenges does it present to get your team's mindset geared back toward playing on the road?

On Saturday, the Flames begin their final regular-season road stretch by visiting Clinton, S.C., for the first time since 1984. The afternoon match-up with the Blue Hose is the first of back-to-back road contests for Liberty before the Flames return to Williams Stadium to close out their 2008 schedule.
