Today, LibertyFlames.com continues its women's soccer feature, "Free Kicks with …" Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the season, "Free Kicks with …" hopes to help you get to know the Lady Flames a bit better. The series continues today with senior Ashley Braam.

After receiving a medical redshirt last season, Ashley Braam has returned to the Liberty line-up to start all seven Lady Flames contests in 2008.

In 2006, Braam started in 11 matches, tallying 10 points on four goals and two assists, before being injured. She went on to earn Big South Conference second-team honors.

Braam appeared in all 21 of Liberty's matches and started nine times during the Lady Flames' run to their third Big South Championship in 2005. Braam scored five goals during the season.

A four-time Big South Presidential Honor Roll member, she began her Liberty career in 2004, scoring her first goal on Sept. 22 in a 2-0 win at Coastal Carolina. Braam would go on to score four goals and two assists in her maiden season at Liberty.

Being able to represent a school that I love and have a team of girls who I call my friends.

2. If you could compete against any athlete in any sport, who would it be and why?
Since I am enrolled in a volleyball class this semester, I feel like I can now take on [Olympian] Misty May-Treanor in beach volleyball and win.

3. Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
Enoch, because he never experienced death (I hope that's how I go).

4. If you could eat dinner with three other people (living or alive), who would they be and why?
Lee Harvey Oswald, so I can ask him if he really shot JFK, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, because I know I will have a great time and a ton of laughs.

5. When I have an hour of free time, I like to …
Do something that makes me expend energy.

6. If someone would look at the songs on my iPod, I would be embarrassed for them to see I have this song or artist …
Britney Spears - "Hit Me Baby One More Time".

7. What TV station do you watch most often?
ESPN or Fox Soccer/News.

8. It is not good for you, but I still eat …
Skittles (the wild berry ones)

9. A place I would like to visit one day is …
Old Trafford (Home field of Manchester United Soccer team).

10. What are five things you could not live without?
My cell phone, food, clothes, MP3 player and my laptop.

11. What is something about you that other people don't know?
I have no idea. There is a lot.

12. What was the best movie you watched over the summer?
Baby Mama.

13. Who is the most famous person you have ever met and how did you met them?
Mia Hamm at a soccer clinic.

14. Who is your favorite Liberty athlete to watch compete?
It was [former Liberty star and current WNBA player] Katie Feenstra, because she was really good.

15. My dream job would be …
Playing soccer, and if that didn't work, then a strength and conditioning coach at UNC Chapel Hill.
