Today, LibertyFlames.com continues its women's soccer feature, "Free Kicks with …" Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the season, "Free Kicks with …" hopes to help you get to know the Lady Flames a bit better. Up next is junior midfielder Maggie Woody. Maggie Woody is in her third season as a member of the Liberty women's soccer team. So far in 2008, she has played in all four Lady Flame contests, with a start in the team's last match against Navy. Last year, Woody appeared in 14 matches, with seven starts, recording six points on two goals and two assists. She netted the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory at UNC Asheville. In first season with Liberty in 2006, she was selected to the Big South All-Freshman team. She netted two goals and added an assist, while playing in 15 matches with eight starts. Homeschooled, Woody helped her CESA Club team to the state championship in 2004. She is one of two pairs of sisters on the Liberty squad, as her sister Jordan is a freshman on this year's team. What are five things you could not live without? My Bible, my iPod shuffle (I love music but I can't sing), soccer ball and my family and friends. 11. What is something about you that other people don't know? I have a heart for missions. 12. What was the best movie you watched over the summer? Nacho Libre....I have never laughed so hard!!! 13. Who is the most famous person you have ever met and how did you met them? (Real Madrid striker) Ruud van Nistelrooy. He happened to stop in Asheville, N.C., while he was headed to New York and I got to play indoor soccer with him for two hours. It was amazing!!! 14.
