Liberty head men's basketball coach Ritchie McKay has announced that sophomore guard B.J. Jenkins has decided to transfer. Jenkins is currently weighing his options of possible institutions to matriculate to.

"We wish B.J. well in all of his future pursuits and endeavors," said McKay.

Jenkins (Virginia Beach, Va.) started 31-of-32 games for the Flames this season, finishing third on the squad with 9.9 points per game. Jenkins shot 40.2 percent from the floor and 31.1 percent from beyond the arc, while pulling down 4.4 rebounds per contest. Jenkins tallied a career-high 24 points in Liberty's victory over Niagara on Dec. 1.
