The Lady Flames women's tennis squad will continue its homestand with a pair of matches against the Georgia State Panthers and Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers.

Liberty (4-4) will host Georgia State (2-7), Friday morning at 11 a.m. The Lady Flames will then take on Mount St. Mary's (0-4) on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. Both matches will be played indoors at Crosswhite Athletic Club in Lynchburg.

The Lady Flames are coming off a 4-3 setback to nationally-ranked No. 39 Furman on Saturday at the Cook Tennis Center, snapping an 11-match home winning streak. Georgia State fell to North Florida by a 4-3 count, Sunday on the road. Mount St. Mary's dropped its most recent match to Merrimack, 5-2 last Saturday.

This will be the second ever meeting between Liberty and Georgia State. In 2018, the Panthers edged the Lady Flames 4-3 in a neutral site match in Greenville, S.C.

Liberty and Mount St. Mary's are also facing off for the second time but first time since the 2002 season. The Lady Flames swept the Mountaineers 7-0 in the inaugural meeting.
