Turning Point
- Amber Bishop led off the second inning with a solo home run, sparking a seven-run second that featured six hits and one error. Elon responded with a three-run double from Goldwait in the bottom of the second, but that was all that the Phoenix would muster as Keeney retired 14 out of the last 15 batters she faced.

Beyond the Box Score
- Liberty now leads the all-time series against Elon 11-6, defeating the Phoenix for the first time since March 5, 2005.

- Liberty's seven-run second inning was its highest-scoring single inning this season. In fact, coming into today's contest, Liberty had not scored more than three runs in any inning in 2020, and had a single-game season high of six runs scored.

- Keeney posted a 2.62 ERA and a .221 opponents' hitting percentage during three appearances at the Gamecock Invitational.

- Amber Bishop has tied Ashley Williams (2005-08) for the program record with 249 career hits. Bishop hit homers in three straight at bats, including her last two at bats in this morning's win against No. 6 Michigan.

- Channell recorded her first career three-hit game, the fourth Lady Flame this season with three hits in a single game.
