With the win, BC improves to 4-7 on the season, including 1-1 at the Gamecock Invitational. The Lady Flames (1-11) fell for the seventh straight game, as Liberty lost a close 1-0 decision to No. 6 Michigan yesterday to begin this weekend's tournament.

This was Liberty's 12th straight game against a Power 5 opponent to start the 2020 season, and Boston College was the team's first unranked opponent since taking on Mississippi State on Feb. 8.
