Caleb Homesley has been named the ASUN Player of the Week.
Liberty's Caleb Homesley was sensational last week on the road, and as a result the senior has been named the ASUN Player of the Week. This is the second time this season Homesley has earned the weekly honor as he averaged 27.5 points, seven rebounds and three assists this past week.
The native of Indian Trail, N.C. recorded his fourth 20-point game of his career to start last week's play at Jacksonville. Homesley would score a game-high 25 points against Jacksonville, tying his season-high at the time to help the Flames pull out the victory over the Dolphins.
To complete the sweep on the road, Homesley put one of his best performances of his career, tying his career-high with 30 points at North Alabama. Homesley was sensational in the first half, scoring 25 points against the Lions and the Flames cruised to a 74-56 victory over North Alabama to improve to 9-2 in the ASUN Conference.
During conference play, Homesley is averaging 16.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Homesley and the Flames return to action on Saturday, Feb. 15, when they host NJIT at the Vines Center.
