The Starting 5 - Liberty's Top Storylines
• Liberty (11-10, 4-4 ASUN) will wrap up its homestand on Monday with its first meeting against Kennesaw State (9-10, 3-5 ASUN) this season.

• Both teams are looking to turn things around as the second half of ASUN Conference play begins. Liberty has lost back-to-back ASUN games for the first time this season, while KSU has lost three of four.

• Liberty won both matchups with Kennesaw State last season, as Bridgette Rettstatt scored 38 points in 37 minutes played between the two contests.

• Keyen Green, the 2018 Big South Player of the Year, is making a successful return from an ankle injury which sidelined her for the entire 2018-19 season. The redshirt junior center is averaging 16.6 ppg during ASUN play, with 11.1 of those points coming after halftime.

• Redshirt junior forward Emily Lytle has shaken off a shooting slump by knocking down eight triples during her last two outings. She is two points away from 600 for her Liberty career and three points away from joining teammates Green, Rettstatt and Ashtyn Baker among the top 50 scorers in program history.

Notes and Anecdotes - Liberty vs. Kennesaw State
• Liberty will play host to Kennesaw State in a matchup of teams trying to get things turned around. The Lady Flames have lost back-to-back ASUN games for the first time this season, while the Owls have lost three of their last four outings.

• Liberty went 2-0 versus Kennesaw State last season, with its 67-61 victory at KSU on Jan. 15, 2019 marking the Lady Flames' first-ever ASUN Conference victory.

• Both teams feature a pair of past conference freshmen of the year. Liberty's Keyen Green and Ashtyn Baker both won the award in the Big South Conference, while Kennesaw State's Carlotta Gianolla and Amani Johnson have been named ASUN Freshman of the Year.

• Kennesaw State's Agnus Berenato (479 wins) and Liberty's Carey Green (467 wins) are both closing in on the 500-win milestone. Green is 2-1 coaching against Berenato. In addition to last year's pair of Liberty-Kennesaw State matchups, Berenato's Pittsburgh Panthers edged Liberty 54-47 at the Caribbean Classic, Dec. 20, 2006 in Cancun, Mexico.

• Liberty will look to limit junior forward Alexis Poole, who enters Monday's game 13 points shy of 1,000 for her career. She tallied 27 points and 15 rebounds during KSU's first meeting with Liberty last season (Jan. 15, 2019) and is averaging 18.0 ppg and 8.5 rpg in ASUN play this season.

Just Another Manic Monday?
• Liberty is 0-4 when playing on Monday this season and has lost six consecutive Monday contests overall.

• The Lady Flames' last Monday victory was a 59-49 win at Charleston Southern on Feb. 1, 2016. No current Lady Flame has won a Monday contest at Liberty.
