What They're Saying about Sophia d'Oliveira "Sophia is a feisty and athletic point guard with great ball-handling skills and court awareness. She is a floor general directing the traffic on the court and putting everyone in position for success. Sophia has great speed, passes well and displays three-point range to open up the court. Her competitive spirit and skills will complement our team's talents and speed. We certainly welcome her to our team." Carey Green, Liberty Women's Basketball Head Coach
"Liberty is getting a ‘double portion' in Sophia. She is a great player and a great person! She has a passion for the game of basketball and life. Sophia gives 100% in everything she does. She works hard in her leadership role to set a good example for others to follow. Her aggressiveness stands out on both ends of the court as well as off the court. I am blessed to be her coach and I sure am glad she is on our team!" Steve Sweat, Dawson County High School Girls' Basketball Head Coach
"I had the fortune of Sophia joining our program in 10th grade. All I can remember is seeing this kid diving, scraping and locking down any opponent we put in front of her! I knew I had something special, and I was right! Sophia is a winner, her work ethic is contagious and she epitomizes the definition of point guard/floor general. What I love about Sophia is her 110% dedication to her teammates. She is a motivator and plays so hard that her teammates have no choice but to rise to her level of play. She is equally dynamic off the court, polite and coachable. She has been a blessing to our program, and to me as a coach and person." Elle Normandy, Team Elite Legacy AAU Girls' Basketball Coach
